Overview
Once your account has been provisioned a dedicated SSL, you will have the option on the certificate upload screen to install your new certificate on one of your VIPs after upload.
In addition, you can choose to install a previously uploaded certificate on one of your dedicated VIPs at any time by navigating to the certificate page, selecting edit on a certificate, then using the VIP section form to install this certificate on all relevant VIPs.
If you wish for this certificate to be served as the default certificate for hostnames that don't match a certificate, or for non-SNI customers, click Mark as default certificate.
When you’ve completed the relevant steps to configure the VIP, click Submit for your changes to be applied to the CDN.
Once your certificate is successfully installed on the dedicated VIP, ensure that all hosts that are using this certificate are using that dedicated VIP for delivery. Verify that the appropriate dedicated VIP is listed in the delivery service column. If it says Global or Global Premium, then that host is currently using SNI on Highwinds' public VIPs.
Click the name in the Host column to edit the associated host, and set the delivery service to the appropriate VIP. Then click submit to apply your changes to the CDN.
At this point delivery should be off of your dedicated VIP, with the certificate you just uploaded being served as the default certificate for non-SNI traffic. You should confirm that your host's DNS is set to CNAME to the appropriate CNAME target. This is available from the service tab on the Hosts tab located on the left-side navigation menu of the StrikeTracker portal.
