Overview
Accounts in StrikeTracker contain your account-level data such as:
- Account name, status, and ID
- Account Activity
- Services
- Primary, Technical, and Billing contact information
- Generate Usage Reports
When a StrikeTracker account is provisioned, it typically will contain only the information for your account itself (name, ID, contacts, etc.), a set of Services, and one or more Users. Your support engineer may also have provisioned one or more Origins and/or Scopes, in addition to creating some Hostnames and configuration policies within your Sites.
Upon receipt of your account, you should review the configuration and have a quick call with your support engineer to understand the status of your configuration.
Configuration of account-level settings is performed via the Accounts module, as shown here:
Account Status
Every Account has an associated status. Each account may only have one status at a time. There are three account statuses:
Active
This is the default status. All new accounts are created in this status. The users associated with an active account may log in to StrikeTracker. The CDN provides service for accounts in Active status (assuming there are no other blockers).
Suspended
An account that is Suspended is effectively shut off from accessing the CDN in any way. Users associated with this Account may not log in to StrikeTracker. The CDN does not provide service for accounts in the Suspended status.
Suspended accounts maintain the configurations and file libraries intact for 6 months and are automatically deleted at 6 months. Before a suspended account is deleted, it can be reversed at any time and returned to full operation.
Deleted
When a user "deletes" an account, it can no longer be accessed or seen. However, the information about the account and its configuration remain in the system and the account is placed in to Deleted status. Deletion is not reversible.
Account Activity
The account activity tab shows how often certain actions have been performed on the account and its sub accounts.
Services
The services tab shows all the services that have been provisioned for the account.
